Now I can instantly see a problem with this when it comes to bloggers who write for money and not for providing original content. This new Google Dynamic View focuses on content only. Only your blog posts are pulled in, the rest of the crap is removed. Such as page formatting and ads. But then again, that's why I prefer RSS feeders that strip that out anyway. I read and follow bloggers for the content, not for their page formats and clicking on their ads they have. This is why Google has allowed authors to turn this feature off, so if you try to view a Blogger page it will not allow you.
Here is my blog through the eyes of the Dynamic Viewer.
- Flipcard mode - http://www.binaryblogger.com/view/flipcard
- Mosaic mode - http://www.binaryblogger.com/view/mosaic
- Sidebar mode - http://www.binaryblogger.com/view/sidebar
- Snapshot mode - http://www.binaryblogger.com/view/snapshot
- Timeslide mode - http://www.binaryblogger.com/view/timeslide
Again, with this new way to consume, it's a neat way to read a single blog. Now, integrate this with something like Google Reader and present this with my RSS feeds then this will be something extraordinary.
Right now it only works with Blogger written blogs and it seems to be nothing more than an experiment at this point. I will probably play a little more with it, but I will stick with my RSS reader on my iPad for content consumption on a mass scale.
End of Line.
