August 11, 2011 A Photo Every Hour

Today I decided to try a fun little project to see if you can take a photo an hour throughout the day and paint a picture of what that day consisted of. I used Instagram and posted everything to Facebook, Flickr and Twitter with the hash tag #photoeveryhour.

I picked a pretty good day to do it. I had meetings in downtown Minneapolis that took me around and got me outside, had some variety in other locations and finished up the day with a birthday party at the park with a surprise guest TC Bear of the Minnesota Twins. It was not planned but turned out to be a pretty neat experiment. Now taking a photo every hour is a lot harder than it sounds, but now I can say I did it. I will probably do it again, but not anytime soon or very often.

Here's a break down of the slide show

  1. Time to wake up - Light breaking through the blinds
  2. Off To Work - Driving into the sunrise
  3. Commute - Traffic was unusually light this morning
  4. Keys - Staring at the keyboard
  5. Two Towers - The IDS tower on the left and the Wells Fargo tower on the right in Minneapolis.
  6. Look Up - Bottom up view of the Ameriprise Tower
  7. Vators - Waiting...
  8. Tunnel - A delivery tunnel
  9. Skyline - Minneapolis skyline
  10. Hallway - Skyway hallway
  11. Where's My Car? - Parking garage
  12. Home - Back home
  13. Park Time - Birthday party location
  14. TC Bear - The surprise guest at the party
  15. Minnesota Dusk - Sunset soon
Enjoy.

End of Line.
