2013 is here and I am going to pick up my Photo a Day hobby. I did it in 2010 and 2011 but skipped it last year for reasons I don't remember. This year I am going to call it a name I saw around the Internet and I am going to borrow it, Project 365.
Project 365: 2013 will be a daily photograph taken by me. However, my twist is that the photo will be 100% taken, edited and uploaded from my iPhone. Only iPhone apps and I will be using the Flickr app to upload and share it on Facebook and Twitter (I abandoned Instagram and not going back).Project 365 will also be as artistic and visually appealing as I can be. This won't be a collection of everyday, run of the mill snapshots just to take a picture, but a deliberate setup. They may be as I sit at my desk, in my office or lounging around at home.
Each week I will post the prior 7 days photos along with a slideshow of all the photos thus far. It should be fun and I already know from my two prior years doing it, it's going to be very difficult to get every single day done. Travel, coverage, life all get in the way. You'd think it would be simple, every single day take a photo and upload it. Try it... I will again.
