June 24, 2013 Nick Wallenda Full Grand Canyon Walk - Video

NFW. Sorry for the assumed language. But there is no way I would be near something like that. Nick Wallenda, tightrope walker, walked across a 1,500 deep canyon "near" the Grand Canyon on a 2 inch wire last night, June 23, 2013. No nets, not safety cable, nothing.

I posted the full walk here in case you missed it. For 22 minutes I was at the edge of my seat, turned away a few times, watching this guy do this. There was a point I thought he was going to fall. The winds shaking the cable, his legs swaying quicker and quicker, him stopping and squatting down to calm down. One misstep and 1,500 down to the bottom if he couldn't hang on to the cable.

His next stunt he says is that he wants to walk between the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building in New York. A distance of over 4,000 feet!

No way.

In 1978 Nick's great grandfather lost his life in a tightrope walking accident. I am not going to embed the video but here is the link to that accident. It's a news show clip, you don't see anything graphic.

End of Line.
