I was terrified on Thursday thinking and sort of expecting a huge loss as the opponent had Peyton Manning and he tied an NFL record for 7 passing TDs in a game. Ouch. As the games progressed it was clear the rest of the Farmer's players weren't supporting it too much with two of his players ending the day with negative points.
My star RB Ray Rice was playing the Broncos and had a so-so game, not enough to come close to keeping the game close out of the gate. However the overall team came through and gave me what I needed to pull it off.
After Week 1 breakout performances by some players that are out on the wire I have put in a waiver claim for a few, not that I need them, but to use as trade bait to improve in one or two places I could use a little comfort improvements. We'll see after tomorrow what happens.
