September 12, 2013 Binary Music Review - Bluegrass Tribute Albums

In my ever expanding consumption of music and music types I have been getting into more and more Bluegrass. You know, where real musicians that can carry a note and play a real, non-electronic instrument are.

Some of it is real hard core but I stumbled across a fantastic transition into the genre. Tribute albums to popular music ranging from Metallica to Country.

On Spotify there person or group to follow called Pickin' On Series. You need a Spotify account to listen to it. The more I listen to the tribute albums I would have to say most of the songs done by these Bluegrass groups are far better than the original, over-processed releases.
